Ilfracombe Loft

A loft extension with a view.

This modern conversion of a chalet-style bungalow in Ilfracombe turned a series of small and dark spaces into a light and airy family home. By forming two full width dormers we were able to move the living spaces to the first floor where they could enjoy the spectacular sea views.

A double height space over the ground floor snug brings borrowed light down from the living spaces above.
